Sales Manager, Location Shanghai

We are looking for a Sales Manager, an experienced professional who is motivated and has the know-how to develop and manage sales channels in the field of FMCG here in Shanghai.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Penetrating to new channels and developing those efficiently through distribution network or directly to retailers, as well private label sales (distributors, online, direct sales, etc.)
  • Take care on total customer account management, category management, including sales forecast, supply planning delivery, order handling and payment follow-up to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability
  • Maintain customer relationship and further penetrate new products to existing channels
  • Make monthly sales reports and development of the sales
  • Anticipate customer needs and respond in a timely manner to all requests
  • Handle customer complaint responsively to ensure that it is closed satisfactorily and see the opportunity to strengthen customer relations and generate new sales
  • Plan, implement, control and review & analyze the use of trade expenses vs. sales volume. Ensure the trend of output vs. cost is favorable to us
  • Pricing and quotation management. Shall be able to arrange solution based quotations
  • Use different social media marketing and online sales platforms, such as: T-Mall, Taobao, Alibaba, yihaodian, etc. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or higher, studies overseas is a plus
  • Familiar with wholesale & distribution channels/process, being familiar with HoReCa industry is a plus
  • Basic understanding of supply chain / import-export procedures
  • Having close relationship with retailing/wholesale/distribution companies is a must
  • More than 5 years experience in FMCG/trading consumer goods, especially in business development
  • Fluent written and spoken English, native in Mandarin
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Strategic thinking with strong creative skills in problem identification, analysis and solving
  • Flexible, organized and able to multi-task, individually or in a team
  • Need to have a strong drive to achieve results, to be determined
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Location: Putuo, Puxi, Shanghai
